Learning from Hypoxia signalling - Bilbao, Spain - April 18-20, 2012

Why is this an interesting meeting?

Registration was extended until March 22.

Oxygen homeostasis breakdown and associated hypoxia occur in a wide range of physio-pathological conditions, including, but not limited to, embryonic development, high altitude, wound healing, inflammation, ischemic diseases and cancer. A detailed understanding of the signalling cascade triggered by hypoxia is important to exploit this pathway for therapeutic applications.

“Learning from Hypoxia signalling”, held in Bilbao, covers four sessions dealing with hypoxia sensing and signalling, stem cells behaviour, metabolic control and translational research. The goal of this meeting highlights the most recent progress in the field and provides a unique framework for discussion and interaction between all the participants.
